The 173,000-square foot, 16-story residence will house 275 students, nearly doubling our student living space.

Just off the lobby, an expansive communal space will offer a view of the outdoor garden and include study nooks and huddle rooms to facilitate group meetings.

On the 16th floor, a sleek sky lounge will adjoin a spacious outdoor terrace, providing a dramatic view of the city, ample room for events, and the potential to engage the broader Weill Cornell Medicine community.

Research at Weill Cornell Medicine will be supported through state-of-the-art renovations of existing lab spaces.

Campaign investments in research include lab renovations at 1300 York Avenue and the creation of new labs in the Belfer Research Building.

A new student residence located at the corner of East 74th Street and York Avenue will create a vibrant new hub of student life. The proposed 173,000 square foot building will feature spacious apartments with modern amenities and new learning spaces.
